i was wandering around san francisco last week and stumbled into this bookstore. i’m there for about 2 seconds and this little kitty comes up to make friends.

i plop down on the floor and within minutes this cat is purring on my lap. we sat like that for a good long while, this funny cat that looks a little rough around the edges but was SO SWEET and beautiful and kind.

it was this nice chill moment where i felt like everything was going to be ok and there was nothing wrong with me or anyone else. a tiny cosmic slice of love, if you will.

and i got a little teary because the last cat i held was delilah.

but not a sad teary.
more of a life is strange and beautiful
and i like my life kind of teary.
