my friend allison’s cat, sweet little vito, crossed over this morning.

i share this with you because i know i have a lot of readers who love their animals like their children-whose pets are much more than simply dogs and cats. they are our babies.

and the grief of losing your baby is terrible. especially this time of year. if you want to go give allison some love for vito go here.

i know she would greatly appreciate it. vito was a rescue (found doused in gasoline at a construction site at the world trade center) and was only with allison for a few months. however, those were extremely happy months! what a beautiful thing to be so loved and cherished before you go. here he is with piggy (aka the little pink pig) in his “brokeback mountain” position.
