let us play

jilly_jeff

i grew up catholic
and there were parts in mass
when we had to say
“lord, let us pray”

and i would always say
lord let us play
thinking i was some sort of bad ass

anyway
i still chant that when i am feeling
cranky tired scared etc

lord, let us play
it works

this photograph made me think
of just that

hope you are playing
today

I’m the editor of Artful Blogging. I would love to talk to you about your blog. Would you mind e-mailing me back at colivarez@stampington.com?

Thank you.

You are so beautiful. I think we should all figure out a way to play every day! It keeps us young and alive. So hooray for being ALIVE!

let us play. oh goodness heee i love that so much!
i need that on a necklace.

wish i could slap you five sister — i grew up catholic too — have been occasionally going to latin masses which i love — now if only the sermons were in latin i would be all set — i like not understanding it –

Totally totally love this! How incredibly appropriate for the day of my ordination as a pastor!

This made me smile. What a cute picture and cute story!

you rock mccabe. once it was a beautiful day out and i just wanted to go kayaking and play in the sunshine. my boyfriend is not of the same mind, and said to me “you just want to play all the time”. yes.
