let us play

i grew up catholic
and there were parts in mass
when we had to say
“lord, let us pray”
and i would always say
lord let us play
thinking i was some sort of bad ass
anyway
i still chant that when i am feeling
cranky tired scared etc
lord, let us play
it works
this photograph made me think
of just that
hope you are playing
today

You are so beautiful. I think we should all figure out a way to play every day! It keeps us young and alive. So hooray for being ALIVE!

you rock mccabe. once it was a beautiful day out and i just wanted to go kayaking and play in the sunshine. my boyfriend is not of the same mind, and said to me “you just want to play all the time”. yes.
