this e-camp is all video and designed especially for young girls. you can read more about it here. the first mermaid warriors class organically lead me to this, as many of the women taking it mentioned that their daughters (and sons!) were enjoying the films as well.

this class is a mixture of art, self expression and self discovery, laughter, dancing, and discussions/suggestions on real girl issues. i thought it would be poignant to bring in the girls i work with~who are so wise and relatable. it is important for girls to connect to other girls without comparison or competition. (and lets face it, that is what our society encourages)

anyone can take this class but it is geared towards young girls. the students will be able to add their work to a flickr pool if they want to share, and we will also be available for ALL questions.

a special part of this project is the amazing jen lemen is connecting us to two very sweet girls in rwanda, who as you can see from their photo, are happy joyful girls! for each class purchased, 5.00 will go directly to our mini african mermaid sisters! it is going to be an empowering process for everyone involved. we can all inspire and teach each other, from all ages and walks of life. you can read more about jen and her magical do-gooder ways here.
