day 10~december views

my neighbor found this sweet little angel yesterday and we have all fallen in love with him! the tags are expired, and the phone number has been disconnected. a man in our neighborhood said a homeless man has been taking care of him….but saw him throw a leash at him and yell profanities and the dog wandered off. (with good reason) our guess is that he belonged to someone at sometime-he sits and lays down and is very loving. he is timid around people but warms up easily. would be a perfect dog for anyone with kids, as he is gentle yet full of energy.

i would keep this dog in a heartbeart but our tiny cottage plus one cranky cat is a bit much. trust me, we tried. any takers? email me mccabe@dancingmermaid.com

oh, and he LOVES ellie. it would be great to have someone local that could bring him over to play!

we will have to take him to the humane society unless we find a person to adopt. a dog like this will get snatched up quickly, but thought i would put it out there in case he speaks to any of you….

oh my goodness, that face! i have to believe that this dog is on a wonderful new journey of his own. dogs are pretty loyal, even to those who abuse them, so this is one smart dog to know that he is worth more. i am hoping you putting the word out will help him to find his home. i wish it could be mine, but we are in the same place as you… tiny place, cranky cat. he is so sweet.

Have you taken the tags in to get the owners name? Then you could try to find them through the phone book, or google. Also, he may be microchipped. It’s worth a shot. Let me know if you need some help, I’ll be there in a flash. My dogs tags are all expired or lost somewhere in the yard. I have found that microchipping is much more reliable.

Could we send him to the UK? Would that work out? Probably not He will find his home, but for now I am glad you are looking out for him x
