you know those random, small moments in your life that feel magical out of no where? like you stop and feel how truly blessed you are for a minute? i had a moment like that today.

*
so my week off turned into an etsy making week. i think i really missed posting there this summer! i have to admit, whenever i get an order i do a little dance. and it is not a cool dance. its just so exciting to have someone buy something you made!

i have two new things i think you will like:

you_are_enough_rocks.jpg

i got a few requests for you are enough rocks…you can get them here.

you also get a love rock with the package…

do you know someone who needs one of these?

i also created the alex mini journal. (after my friend alex who covets all things mini!) i thought these would be perfect for the beginner art journaler (but you don’t have to be a beginner) who is a little intimatidated to start. the pages are small and the materials are fun. you don’t have to go the art store and spend a lot of money, instead you can try some of my favorite materials and get to know what your inner child likes to play with.

by the way…i had a few interruptions while taking that photo…

speaking of inspiring things….have you all ordered swirly’s book yet? you can order them here..but i got mine on her etsy shop. you get a print with it! receiving this package was so much fun! it is all sparkles-and-magical, it feels like she is gifting you with a personal gift. (so much better than going to barnes and noble and standing in that line) not only is it a beautifully illustrated book that will make you want to stop and do art in the middle of it…it is also one of those books where you say YES! and ME TOO! the whole way through. even delilah is inspired by it, and you know how picky she can be.

buttery popcorn and cherry coke are two of my favorite things!!! so wonderful talking to you yesterday, my friend. xoxo

Ummm . . . well, as embarrassing as it is to admit this, I spent two weeks watching the entire canon of Sex and the City. Yeah, I’m a dork.

I also got talked into watching Enchanted this past week by some girlfriends. I’d been kicking and screaming against it for months . . . but what can I say? I ended up liking it.

I want to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and Mamma Mia. Like I said, I’m pretty much a dork.

ANYWAY . . . you know I love the Delilah picks. Where did you get those uber-cute shoes??!

i heart your heartr0cKs!

xoxo

So glad you posted more rocks…. I have bought them for my good friends… and now I need some for me! :0

I am also anxiously awaiting my book and print! from swirly — while I was there, I ordered some postcards, too — also awaiting your photos being put back up on etsy!

What a beautiful post!
The last movie I watched was The King And I, and I cried at the end just like I did when I was ten…and I just bought some of your pebbles ~ for me and for my sister. =]

There’s an award for you on my blog, by the way.

Happy Sunday, dear mermie.

Silly me. I just checked the link to my blog and I made a mistake when I typed the URL address in. The link should work on this comment. (She says with fingers crossed.)

Pets can be so cheeky! But they are so cute you just can’t stay mad at them. :)

I love you sharing your ordinary magical moments…

I’m sorry, but I’m ultra-lame…I can’t even remember that last movies I saw! :)

Have a fun weekend! :)

I just saw The Jane Austen Book Club and I loved it. A wonderful girly movie. Also Mamma Mia is great especially the actual performance. I saw it in Vegas. Good times!

i love everything about this post. one night we were traveling out to nevada to see my husbands family. the kids were sleeping behind us. we had no radio reception, so we spent the whole drive talking. at one point conversation lagged for a moment and we took in our nighttime surroundings. the moon was bright and a train was chugging along right next to us. the hubs and i simultaneously turned to one another and said, “i love you.”

it was magic.

and it was also completely ordinary.

love the new rocks. LOVE those books, what lovely ideas come out of your curlie headed noggin’.

finally, (i know, enough already!) go see kung fu panda. it’s at the dollar theater right now. ;-D but it’s funny and heartwarming and very jack black-ish.

(((hugsandkisses)))

have you ever seen station agent? it is a great one…hugs, me

Hee – I love the photos of your cat reading my book and trouncing all over your beautiful display. You are ON FIRE!! xoxo
