as promised....

i finally got some new postcard rock prints up in my etsy shop. they are really fun and are great for matting and framing too. (i plan to do a little series of them on my bathroom wall)

i had to clear out my etsy shop to start anew. my life is all about these art camps right now, leaving little time for much else. as of the moment, i am no longer doing custom painted rocks. (just doing rock of the month stones) as much as i love sending them to you guys, they are quite time consuming and i have to be realistic about what i can and cannot do. however, when spirit inspires, i may put limited groups or sets up for fun. we shall see!

i do encourage YOU to keep painting rocks and leaving them for the world to find. there are some hard times going on currently, and the earth needs all the love it can get. so, if you have extra to spare, write it on a rock and spread it around.

edited to add: my shop is empty because 1.) i do not have the original photos to print that were previously in my shop (computer meltdown) 2.) all the other art were little things that i have run out of and i want to make room and time for 3.) new things! big art. mixed media. as soon as these camps are done, that is where my heart is.

I wonder what people would do if I painted my boobies with color and sayings and walked around the beach like that, a different saying on each one, a different one each day? Think that would get the magic flowing?

I missed you while you were gone Am still working on that glittery frame project…the whole time I’m working on it, I’m thinking happy thoughts of YOU. Rock ON (and I mean that in the most punniest way possible).

you have inspired me so much mccabe! i am doing art with my kids more than i ever have…they love it, and i love it! we love painting rocks with special words on them and giving them to people that stop by for a visit. we keep our rocks in a yellow flower bucket on our front porch. the neighborhood kids love it, and have been known to take a rock or two home to thier families when playtime is over.

Hi McCabe. I met you thru Susannah’s postcard swap last year. I have been keeping up w/ your blog. Love your sweet inspirations. You had asked us to share so I did this on my blog. I “borrowed” the magic line you used. I hope you don’t mind. Hope you’ll stop by and see what I created since I did not have any rocks like you.

I am interested in what kind of paint do you use? I am thinking of doing this around my college campus but it rains alot so I was wondering what kind of paint i should use on the rocks I leave around for others to find. If you have any recommendations please let me know! Thanks
