Dear D.M>
I have been reading your blog for several months now… I am not a stalker though:) I find your pictures, art and words inspiring. Not sure I have my own self worth in check I never leave comments.. Until today.. I wanted to tell you that today-3000 miles away-that I am hosting an art day for my kids and neighbor. It is because I have you I am taking a leap of faith and sharing what I find inspiring and giving it to others. Misty Mawn taught me what I know and she started the awakening of artist inside of me… Now I am learning from you as well. So thank you. We are art journaling too. I bought old children’s books at a junk store and gesso’d them. I will post pictures on my blog of our version of art camp. I going to Micheals now to buy me some glitter. A girl can’t have enough fairy dust.

these are gorgeous. i have a thing about moleskines but none of mine have ever been home to such loveliness. mine are full of lists and notes and random thoughts. i might need to experiment with something a little more colourful. thank you for the inspiration!

I’m working on a little project–something like an art journal–for my mom, as a gift. This post helps me out a lot with that (idea-wise).

truly, you are inspiring. i love your art journals…i want to make one but i’m soo intimidated.

i think sitting down with my girl and making art journals will be the way to unlock the fear.

Wow!! You all were reading my mind- I just started my own art journal- so far I’m just drawing, but these are full of light and fun and beauty!! Love them!! I am inspired to try out some different mixed media soon now.
