on a sidenote, my friend and fellow artist karin is holding an artists market at her magic cottage (919 doris drive, encinitas, ca 92024) this sunday, june 22nd, at 12 pm. it is a great group of creative folks having fun and selling art-candles, paintings, prints, jewelry and other treasures. all you local peeps stop on by! and for those of you who cannot make a last minute trip to california-check out karin’s and cat’s (new friend and gifted painter) amazing etsy shops. really magical, bright art and a perfect place to shop for gift giving. these ladies have it going on i tell you…;)

you two are adorable and i was among those feelin’ late to the party on the sold out rock postcards! going to find your email address now…..and will be tuning in again tomorrow for my first art lesson! i’m gettin’ my giddy on.

I am giddy with excitement that camp starts tomorrow!!!

Virtual mermaid camp. I cannot wait.

yay, you! you’re doing it! the virtual mermaid camp is going to be awesome. and because i’m such a baby when it comes to art, meaning i’m a total wuss and think i have zip-zero ability, i’m just going to stand by the side of the pool and just watch and take it all in this time around, MAYBE dip a tiny toe into the water, just to see how it feels.

i’m totally curious to find out how you’ll do this . . . wondering if it will be a step-by-step blog post or (wouldn’t it be cool?!) a video blog.

I so wish I was your real life neighbor

i am so not crafty and looking at your magical art is so inspiring. i wish i could have gone to the mermaid camp when i was little. i didnt really like camp- i was always the weird one…but YOURS would have been just perfect. i see you unfolding into your art and living your dream and i just wanted to tell you that it inspires us all. when we live our dream, we allow others to do so also. i love you very much and am so glad to call you a dear friend. lets have a date really soon. i am FINALLY done moving. and now i can use a computer anytime i want! yay!
