this picture pretty much wraps up how i have been feeling lately:

super enthusiastic
slightly overwhelmed
inpired
happy
and a teeny tiny bit kooky.

lots of good things happening lately-one big thing is your warm response to my mermaid camp suggestion. wow! thank you. i honestly was thinking of local women when i wrote this-it never dawned on me that any of you would get on a plane to come play with me. i am beyond flattered.

i am booked with kid camps all summer-so i was thinking maybe around october or so-depending on how many of you are interested. i would like to keep them small and intimate (10-14 per play class) and am open to doing several so everyone who wants to attend will have the chance.

i am going to think more about this in the next few weeks. a big thank you to everyone who left a supportive comment, email, or telepathic high five. i felt it.

oh! and two things that are also making me happy this week:

1.) making fairy jars! my students have been ALL about them. i cannot take credit for this fabulous idea, i got the idea straight from one of suzi blu’s videos. suzi is also offering an online class this summer-check out her website for details. i am going to take it-it seems wonderful! i want my mermaids faces to look as sweet as suzi’s little girls.

i am really considering getting a youtube account and vloging. it looks like a damn good time.

and suziblu…she’s been one of my fav’s for awhile now. she has a way of turning the worst day into a great one just with her personality. and now with lulu….oh that puppy makes me laugh !

and hmmmm….what art ?? any art by the beach would work for me !

I think you really should consider vlogging. LOVE Suzi’s and yes, she has a way of making it all seem just fine. I KNOW you would do that or more.

YES! Count me in whenever you do a play day. Also, if you have dates for your workshops over the summer my sister would like to bring my niece KELIS! I would so, so love to come to a playshop with you! But, I’m on the other side of the country and can’t see myself getting on a plane to fly that far. I would love to read about them and see pictures if you would share!

I keep wishing I could come to your class. I know it would be amazing! I’ll just have to look forward to reading about it once it happens.

My girls and I are also going to do the fairy jars this summer. It will be hours of fun for all of us. I’ll just have to have camp at my house, just the girls and me but totally inspired by a mermaid! Thanks for sharing all of these great ideas.

Ummm, I’d totally fly out - I miss you, and it’s time for my “every other year trip to Cali” anyway. If you gave enough advance notice, I’ll see if I can scrape together enough $$ for airfare and hotel.

I have two tickets to anywhere just waiting to be used….hmm……*smiles wickedly*
