22 ways to feel more magical off the top of my head:

1.) listen to this song really loud in your car while eating cherry twizzlers. (but watch the video all the way through before you do)

2.) call a pal you can be totally yourself with. yap until there is nothing left. abandon all disclaimers and apologizes. curse with complete joy.

3.) if standing in a long boring line, strike up a conversation with the person behind you. they might be an olympic gold medalist. (this happened at the 7-11 today)

4.) wear a little body glitter (left over from halloween) on your eyelids to work.
*
5.) call a friend who is having a hard time and sing them a song on their voice mail.
*
6.) write some affirmations on post-its, walk down your street, and place them on parked cars.
*
7.) light every single candle in your house. even the really expensive vanilla one in a fancy box
you are trying to save.
*
8.) rub lavender oil on your lovers pillow.
*
9.) start a collection.
*
10.) go into the thrift store and find one thing to make-over.
*
11.) go into your card box and reread all your letters. feel how loved you are in the world.
*
12.) talk to someone who knew you when you were young.
*
13.) put a message in the tip jar with your money.
*
14.) go buy the most beautiful card you can find. send it to someone who values your heart.
*
15.) fill up your empty mason jars with water. add a dash of food coloring to each one. place in the window and admire.
*
16.) frame a piece of art a child has made for you. know this is the purest love you will ever receive.
*
17.) put your hand on your chest and breathe into your heart chakra.
*
18.) write to someone you admire and tell them they kick ass.
*
19.) plant a seed. watch it grow.
*
20.) make a plan to ask three people three questions in one day. listen.
*
21.) forgive yourself for something you are ashamed of.
*
22.) smile.

I have already done 3 on the list before I even read it. I talked with my sweetest friend. I bought a beautiful card yesterd which will be posted on my blog later today. I sent it to the sweet friend I talked just talked to. I have actually listened. Love the list. Great idea. Thanks for posting it.

i once had a note left in my car while i was in the bank. it said, “jesus loves you and wants you to be better.” i didn’t appreciate it very much. i’m QUITE sure that your affirmations are much sweeter.

how about giving someone a heart attack?? you cut out hearts in all colors of paper, get heart shaped post it notes, streamers, etc and then while they sleep put them all up everywhere. it’s like toilet papering for nice people.

Dear Mccabe (& Justin!)

Thank you for the thank you note, I did receive it and are having trouble emailing to you…always coming back…but let’s see if this one gets through.

Firstly….it is because of Justin (yes you!) and those gorgeous, calm eyes that I had the courage to post about my speech problem…it is such a huge part of who I were (because it is not that huge any more…just in stress situations)…and I was thinking…

1. if Mccabe can talk from her heart….and share so openly and honestly…and
inspire…..
2. and such calm comes from justin’s eyes…..
3. then i can just say it as it is.

Justin – sure that you can agree that we can talk about this part of our lives for hours…non-stop…for me…I prefer to talk about my dreams and things I want to do and be in my life…and people inspiring me…like Mccabe…so if you want to talk about her…I’ll listen any time…!

I’m just thinking if you are so (this is for Justin) so centred…I’m not quite sure what to say and not to say….because usually you just make a joke about it and move on…but I guess here you can just say it…and go on with life. It sucks! ( And that is all I have to say!)
