Makes me smile. When I moved to the midwest I packed up my sea glass and rocks as well as my books and brought them with me -- and insisted on having them shipped back. My mommma thought I was a bit nuts to insist but some I've had since 8th grade (age 14) and they all are special and have their own stories to tell ... When I took care of my first micro-preemie at work (1 lb, 2 oz) I was amazed at the diapers he wore. They're the size of my cell phone. I took one out of the big pack of diapers and carry it in my purse... I guess as a reminder of perspective and the presence of very real miracles in this world. When I got your rocks, it took me a while to figure out where I wanted to keep them. I didn't want them bouncing around in my purse but wanted to keep them near, so I decided to wrap them in the diaper. Now they're with me everywhere I go, protected inside a sweet little reminder of my babies at work. Isn't that fun?! I was so excited about that idea. :) I keep my rocks in an interesting place, but it touches my own heart.
