if you can manage, i highly recommend you put aside an afternoon for yourself, grab your best pal, and go see across the universe. besides the fact that the entire movie revolves around beatles songs, you will be blown away by the sheer brilliance of this film. your most creative, inner child will have a hay day.

OH.MY.GOD.THIS.FILM.WAS.AMAZING. if you live in the san diego area, it is currently playing at the la paloma theatre…which is a treat within itself.

be prepared to buy the the kick ass soundtrack as soon as you get home. (it is on itunes.)

i saw this a few weeks ago and LOVED it for all sorts of reasons – the performances, the music, the ideas… wonderful stuff!

This movie is so delicious! It is one of my favorite directors who is a woman! woo hoo! Check out her other movie that I adore- Frida about the life of painter Frida Kahlo:) beautiful.

Ah! I adore this film and have been addicted to the soundtrack ever since I saw it last month. So much inspiration and colour!!

i just clicked into the site….thank you! you know i didn’t see the trailers on this at the movies or on tv….and i found they’re just playing it in one theatre where i live and only 2 showtimes, which means it’s nearing its end! thank you for posting this….this is really my speed, my era, my music, my generation baby!
